Please consider supporting our Astor School 2023 benefit by donating to our auction with the contribution of an unforgettable experience, gift card, gift basket, or products from your business that only you can offer. 

Astor K-8 has approximately 400 students who attend our school and live in the North Portland community. As a Portland Public School, funding and resources are often constrained. Our administration, teachers, and families are committed to our students, but cannot meet their needs alone. The Astor PTSO serves a vital role in filling resource gaps for our school, teachers, and students. Not only that, we also make our school and our community a more equitable, vibrant and positive place to be. 

Your donation will provide critical funds that we will use to support projects that promote academic excellence and experiences for all of our students. This year, the Astor PTSO is focusing on the creation of after school programs such as art, music, athletics, drama, and more. The classes will be sliding scale or scholarship. Additionally, the Astor PTSO is working to enhance the school’s playground with updates and improvements, a project that will benefit each and every student.

You can give with confidence knowing that 100% of your contribution goes back to our efforts and that our board is 100% volunteer. All of the events we host are free to all students and provide free food options. Thanks to the generous support of local companies like yours, over the past 12 months, the Astor PTSO has funded projects including: assisting in-need families year round, providing free masks school wide, sponsoring the first annual AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander) Event, offering free community events monthly, and green space development on the playground. 

We truly need your help to make our biggest fundraiser of the year a success. By contributing to our event, your business will receive exposure at the event, on social media, and on our event webpage. Additionally, you will have the benefit of increased goodwill from the ~200 event attendees who work, live, and shop in our community and beyond. All donations are tax deductible. Suggested donation items include business gift cards, event/activity tickets and passes, gifted products or services, and the like. We encourage you to be creative!
